JASRx.com is an extension of your pharmacist's ability to help you understand and get the most out of your medications. All prescriptions filled at this pharmacy are checked at the time they are filled for interactions with other drugs on your file, foods, and medical conditions or allergies you may have. This checking is done first by the most sophisticated pharmacy software application available, then double-checked by your own licensed pharmacist. This means the pharmacy MUST have all your current health and contact information on file. JASRx.com allows you to update this information as often as needed, from the comfort of your own home.
In addition, JASRx.com contains educational information about your prescription products - some even have a quiz at the end to make sure you understand what you've read about your medication. The results of these quizzes are sent back to your pharmacist, who can determine whether additional education is necessary for you.
Another terrific feature of JASRx.com is the Talk To My Pharmacist section. From here, you can send secure, private messages from your home to your pharmacist. Since the messages are sent through a secure server, the only person who will see your message is your pharmacist - none of the risks associated with email apply to this messaging system. Plus, you can send any potentially embarrassing messages to the pharmacist anonymously and the pharmacist will reply without knowing which patient is asking the question! |
