| Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology is a seven-member group of physicians offering complete obstetrical and gynecological services. Its modern offices, constructed in 1981, are located at 410 Carriage Drive. The doctors offer 24-hour seven-day-a-week coverage for obstetrical and gynecological services. Our practice is centered primarily at Raleigh General Hospital. |

| Obstetrical patients are cared for by all doctors, but they may schedule office appointments with the doctor or doctors of their choice. One doctor is on call at all times at the hospital to see patients in the emergency room, to take care of hospitalized patients and to care for patients in labor and deliver their babies. A second member of the group is always available for consultation, surgical assistance and emergencies. A full range of obstetric services is offered, including care of high-risk patients such as those who have had problems with previous pregnancies and those with diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. |

| Modern office facilities are available to aid in the care of patients during pregnancy. These include equipment for antepartum fetal monitoring (non-stress tests) and blood sugar determination. A full-service ultrasound laboratory is located in the same building, where mammograms and amniocenteses are performed. Genetic counseling services are provided in the main office by Dr. Thaddeus Kelly and his associates from the University of Virginia. Dr. William Neal from West Virginia University sees children with cardiac problems in the office. Dr. Tom Kowalkowski of Greenbrier Valley Urology is available in the office for urologic consultation. |

| At the hospital neonatal intensive care unit provides continued intensive care for premature and ill newborns immediately following delivery. |

| Gynecology patients are followed by the physician of the patient's choice, including any surgical treatment which may be necessary. If an emergency arises, however, the physician on call is always available. Among the gynecological services offered are contraceptive counseling, infertility evaluations, evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears, artificial insemination, outpatient and office surgery, and urological evaluations and treatment. Breast screening is also available. |

| Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology bills insurances as a courtesy to their patients; however, unpaid balances are the patient's responsibility. The business office will answer any questions concerning payment arrangements. Appointments are scheduled daily, Monday through Friday. |
